The ICT (information and communication technology) industry offers exciting job opportunity to people with computer skills, both in Aotearoa and overseas. This industry programme is designed to kick start your career in the computing, giving you a basis grounding in computer maintenance, email, word processing, spreadsheets, database management, desktop publishing, presentation, graphics and web designing. The programme also includes kaupapa Maori activities – you will attend a marae based event with fellow students, and use karakia, waiata, powhiri, whakawhanungatanga and the use of thete reo Maori in the classroom.
